The health benefits of consuming less sugar are plentiful and yet the drinks market is awash with products containing high levels of sugar.* This is particularly evident in mixers and tonics where low sugar and natural options are extremely scarce.

Shockingly, traditional flavoured tonics can contain between 7-10g of sugar per 100ml serving; the same as you would find in 100ml of Coca Cola.† Even drinks advertised as light, slimline or diet are misleading about their sugar content and well-known brands claiming to be ‘low in sugar’, are in fact replacing sugar with cheap sweetener substitutes which pose just as much risk to our health and have an unpleasant aftertaste.

We believed it was time for change. That’s why we developed a range of drinks that are low in sugar, low in calories, made from natural ingredients and, crucially, taste great as well.

The Twelve Below range is the first tonic to be certified low sugar and only contains 12 calories per 100ml. We’ve achieved this by ensuring we only use natural ingredients such as organic agave, which is natural sugar from the sap of the cactus plant.
